Two-teachers-per-student system
Thorough support provided by two teachers
AFLS has adopted a two-teachers-per-student system. This consists of a homeroom teacher who takes charge of students based on when they enroll, and the classes teacher who are in charge of each of the classes organized based on academic ability. Understanding each student’s personal circumstances enables us to provide detailed guidance tailored to their individual needs.
A wide range of options for further education
Meeting students’ individual needs with a wide range of options for where to go for further education
We have been certified as a special designated school by many universities, junior colleges, and professional schools, including the Denpa Gakuen sister schools. This enables students to make the best choice when selecting where to go for further education. We also give students suitable information and advice about where to go for further education, based on what they want to do and their Japanese ability.
Full dormitory facilities
The support our dormitories provide help students enjoy safe lives free from worry.
The school has dormitories exclusively for international students, with all the necessities for a comfortable daily life—such as air conditioning, a refrigerator, and curtains—and Internet access, as well. The facilities enable students to get accustomed to life in Japan in a safe and comfortable environment.
Thorough support with daily life
A follow-up system to provide support with living in Japan
Support begins on arrival, with things like school transfer procedures, enrolling health insurance, and preparing a personal seal. We then continue to provide various forms of support necessary for life in Japan, including accompanying students to medical institutions when they suddenly become sick, helping them get part-time work, and solving problems they are having in daily life.
A rich range of school events
Numerous events for an even richer student life
Besides parties to welcome new students and celebrate graduation, the school also organizes a diverse range of other events, including tours of Kyoto and Nara, and visits to see facilities around Nagoya. A number of events are provided to boost understanding of Japanese culture, interaction between students, building relationships with instructors, and so on.
